Dear Sir,
The trustees of Yorkley Community Centre are looking to revive the village fete this coming summer with June 20th as the proposed date. As well as providing a weekend of events for the community we hope to raise money to renovate the skate park for the youngsters of the village and provide state of the art audio equipment for the hall.
We would like ask you if some of your members ( if they're not competing that weekend) would be happy to come and display their competition cars as one of the attractions? A static display of your cars would appeal to many adults and children and would be a little different for most fetes.
If you can help us we would be really grateful.
Of course if you can help details of providing suitable display arrangements could be discussed nearer the date.
